Basic knowledge of reviewing construction (structural and architectural) plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, labor costs as well and contracts to ensure the best deals.
Keep track of materials and order more when required.
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets
Following instructions and taking ownership of the procurement process, ensuring all stages including pre-qualification, inquiry, bill of quantities, analysis, and selection report.
Prepare document for sourcing of quotations and calling of sub-contract tender including tender evaluation, recommending award, and preparing sub-contract document
Evaluation and comparison of tenders or suppliers’ quotations.
Assist immediate superior and department manager with cost information, post-contract administration, valuation of progress payment, variation assessment, and cost control report.
Follow instructions to ensure the final accounts are negotiated and agreed upon timeously
Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor
Job Requirements
A recognized bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
A minimum of 1-year experience in the role
Good command of English communication both spoken and written
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Proactive, take initiative, detail-oriented, and able to work fast under pressure
Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
